Wedding Ceremony for Paula and Kit

Hello and welcome here this afternoon.

We all know why we’re here and,…….

that it’s a very special time. 

Not just for Paula and Kit but for all involved in their lives,
for family and for friends.

Each one of you are important to Paula or Kit and that is why you’re we’re today

SO….as we join together let’s relax, get in the spirit of what’s happening and really celebrate this marriage of Paula  to Kit.

SO…please relax and make yourself  comfortable, we’ll have a half time break in about an hour when Champagne and Caviar  will be available at highly inflated prices.       

Before we move on to the fun stuff, is anyone here who knows any reason why this marriage should not proceed, now’s your chance to speak up and say so!!!! …. I didn’t think so.!

# I am sure you are both aware of the reality of the vows you are  
   about  to make to one another and of the responsibility that comes  
   when a partnership is created. 

   Marriage is based in honesty and  trust, and only with these     
   things can you create a  successful partnership.  

# A really happy marriage is founded on love.

# True love, is a commitment of both heart and mind.

# There is no stronger Bond.

Relationship in Marriage enables two individuals  to  share their: 
                               * desires,
                               * longings,
                               * dreams and memories,

and to help each other through their uncertainties.

It provides the resources to step out and risk more and thus to gain more.  

In marriage husband and wife belong together,
providing mutual support and stability to each other 

Together, today we recognise and affirm the relationship you both have as you begin your married life together. 

Not because of a contract written on paper,
but a contract written within the heart. 

Paula, Kit, with these things in mind

In a moment we witness the giving of rings…..as a symbol of the promises about to be made.

 These rings represent a holy agreement and should…

  • Serve as a reminder to you both
  • That the vows you both take today
  • Before family, friends and before God

ARE:  

  • Not temporary
  • Not conditional
  • But everlasting.

THEY: represent something continuous like the unbroken circle that they are.

These are not just words to make the service sound nice, these rings are a powerful symbol of your relationship.

SOMETHING……Beautiful, lasting, Something sure.

Look at your rings often,

AND………..as you do, remember the promises that you make today.

 Kit you may now kiss your bride.
